    • Using a t-square and triangle, The teacher demonstrates how to draw a house while students follow along on their paper.

    After the demo, students are to ink their drawings with a waterproof technical pen. The next day the teacher demonstrates how to use watercolor to add a wash of color to their drawings.

    Students are to draw a "mansion of a house", ink it and add color.

    Evaluation:
    3 points -- Accurate house drawing
    3 points -- Details included such as window frames, siding, shingles, landscaping...
    2 points -- Nicely inked with line weight
    2 points -- Wash of at least two colors added.
