Emphasis Canvas Board Painting

Students are introduced to the Principal of Emphasis through diagrams and photos. Composition is also discussed with illustrations. In addition, the Rule of Thirds is illustrated with images.

Students are to compose a painting on a piece of canvasboard. Any subject and painting style may be selected from abstract to hyper real. They should, however, have a story to tell or an idea to convey through this painting.
