Lego Block Drawing

Students use a box of lego blocks to build a sculpture as inspiration. After the sculpture is built, they can draw it as a still life, or draw it in context, or use it as inspiration to make a more detailed drawing/painting.

For example, a student might build a car. They could draw the lego-built car as accurately as possible using it as a still-life. Or they could draw the lego car in a scene with houses and a street and people. Or they might choose to use that sculpture as inspiration to draw a specific car as nicely as they can.
