  • Proportions
    • Students practice drawing straight lines on paper along with the teacher. The teacher demonstrates drawing squares while the students follow along duplicating the squares. Triangles are next and the triangles flipped to make a star shape. Finally guidelines are drawn and circles practiced.

    After the practice day a Shape Duplication worksheet is handed out for students to work on. They are to duplicate each shape as many times as they fit on the lines.

    Evaluation:
    10 points = nicely done
    5 points = complete but not to a satisfactory level
    0 points = not completed or unacceptable quality.
