Ink Creatures -- Splat Monsters

Students are shown how to rip masking tape for eyes and how to blow the ink/watercolor around on their paper with a straw.

The first day is used for teacher demonstration, masking eyes/mouthes and blowing the watercolor or ink.

The artworks are left to dry until the next art session where the tape is carefully peeled away and markers are used to outline and color the eyes.

For this project, students are to make a family of 3 ink creatures: Mom, Dad, and a baby or child.
