This lesson teaches students how to compose a picture using different shades of color to indicate objects in the Foreground (close to viewer), Midground (middle), and Background (far from viewer). This concept is also called Aerial, or Atmospheric Perspective and best illustrated, in real life, through
landscape photos. (
Another example)
