International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards

  • 1. Empowered Learner -- Students leverage technology to an active role in choosing, achieving and demonstrating competency in their learning goal, informed by the learning sciences.

    This assignment allows students to exercise their creativity by coming up with some interesting combinations of pictures. They must use at least two photos and combine them to create something new.

    Be sure to use large images!!! Click here for Instructions on how to find and download large images from a google search.

    Evaluation:
    3 points -- Undetectable corrections
    3 points -- Looks natural and real (lighting, shadows, etc.)
    2 points -- Quality of original photos (not small grainy things)
    2 points -- Size to 8 inches in one dimension (72 pixels per inch) -- save as a Photoshop document.
