Another year is nearly gone! I can't believe it! Seems like only a month or two since I was working on last year's Christmas letter. (Which you can see by clicking the Christmas Past tab at the left.)
Don't you hate it when a Christmas letter gushes with enthusiasm about all the exciting things that happened over the past year? I do to. So that's why you'll detect no enthusiastic gushing from us. Just the facts.

The kids are still keeping us busy, but Drew is helping out more and more. He's in 2nd Grade at St. Philip's school. Theo is also at St. Philip's, in Kindergarten. Anissa is 3 and a half. She's the big girl around the house now and enjoys helping with little jobs. And Therese is climbing on everything. Be sure to click on their names to see and hear their Christmas greetings.

Karen is still working with our church part time and I'm still teaching Art at LHS. Nothin' changed there. In fact, not a whole lot has changed. We did manage to build a little deck out our back sliding door this summer. After 6 years of falling 4 feet out that door, it's nice to finally be able to step out and enjoy a summer sunset. (We're still waiting to sit on the deck and enjoy a snowy winter sunset. --Looks like we're not getting a white Christmas here!)

Ok, enthusiastic gushing isn't so bad... There are a couple things I'd like to mention. Once again I had the honor to speak at the TIES technology in Education conference in Minneapolis. The room was packed again with nearly 200 people as I talked about creative ways of using computer technology in a classroom. Highlights from the presentation can be found at this address:

Another honor I've been given is the commission to sculpt the Stations of the Cross for our church. I'm frantically trying to get all 14 done before Ash Wednesday. That means I need to keep a schedule of finishing one every week. I'm posting progress pictures on my website at:

We hope to see you sometime in 2007 and wish you and yours all the best this Holiday Season.
