Anissa is becoming a good helper. She really enjoys doing little jobs around the house for us. She does, however, have a temper and is very strong willed. Wonder which parent she gets that from --her dad, possibly???
She loves using the scissors for "projects". She'll cut paper into a million pieces and imagine each piece as something. Maybe a family and a house and puppy, or a dinosaur and rocks or whatever. She seems to like cutting hair too. Last week she decided to cut her and Therese's hair. Karen caught her before too much damage was done, but that's the third time she has cut her own hair--and the second time she's cut Therese's. You'd think she would learn that it's a bad thing after the scolding she got the first time and the down-right "chewing out" she got the second time. Maybe, instead of preschool, we ought to put her into a cosmetology school. Could it simply be a burgeoning talent?
It's funny how parents can raise kids exactly the same, but their own interests and personalities emerge. Our beautiful little three-year-old is such a little lady. She really enjoys playing "girl" things with her little sister. They make a good pair.
