Wanda Gag Memorial Statue Proposal 1

Life-size Portrait of the New-Ulm Artist and Author to be placed in front of the New Ulm, MN Public Library.
Our first proposal included 3 different sculptures: A rough Portrait, a standing version, and a sitting version.



The standing version is meant to illustrate Wanda welcoming little children to the library. Inviting them in to read.



The sitting version allows kids a more easily accessible Wanda. One that they can look at directly and see what she's drawing.
