Drafting 3 -- 3-view Drafting

After working through the View Labeling worksheet, students are given a Sketch Worksheet with simple isometric drawings that they should sketch into orthographic (3-view) drawings.

The teacher asks the students to sketch out the first shape on the Sketch Worksheet in 3-views.

Next students are asked to tape down their Drafting Blank. The teacher then works through how to center a simple 3 view drawing on a page. As the teacher draws on the board, students follow along. Click here for printable Centering instructions.

After the drawing above is completed in class, students are given two more simple isometric shapes. For each shape they are to make a correct 3-view drawing centered on their page.
