The drapery is being refined more and more as well as the feet. Notice, in the second picture, how the drapery folds have changed.
Live reference is so important. An old apron was placed on a form to see how cloth actually hangs. That helped make the folds of the second picture more natural.
Also notice the feet are being blocked in.
