Rodin's "Gates of Hell" are shown and discussed in class. Made as an entrance for the Decorative Arts Museum in France, Rodin was given free reign to make anything he wanted. Rodin chose to illustrate scenes from Dante's story, "Inferno". Rodin continued to work on the "Gates of Hell" for 37 years until 1917.
