    • HTML Formatting

    The teacher demonstrates new tags that help format a website into a more appealing design.

    Students are to follow along, typing HTML with the teacher as we modify the website.

    Tags learned are:
  • horizontal rule
  • color
  • align
  • comment
  • blockquote
  • image source
  • div
  • anchor

    File structure is also discussed and demonstrated. Students will make a folder for their images and reference them in their 02.html webpage.

    The assignment is to make a new webpage titled, 02.html. This page should have 10 images and a phone number or contact info for each person/thing. See unfinished example here or scroll down to the bottom of this page.

    Evaluation:
    2 points -- images included and nicely arranged
    3 points -- Logical and appealing use of 2 colors
    3 points -- Formatted nicely
    2 points -- Includes all required elements and saved correctly as "02.html"
