  • 1. Demonstrate knowledge of fractions as used in measurements.

    • The teacher demonstrates how to put various gears together to achieve a certain motion or action. Instructions are handed out that describe various builds. Below are the instruction pages:

    • Finally students are given a picture of a crimper. They need to figure out how to make it by themselves.

    When students bring their crimper up to show the teacher, he will give them a few strips of paper to run through their crimper.

    Evaluation: 5 points -- Finishing all 5 lessons
    3 points -- Finished crimper
    2 points -- Crimped paper
    10 Points total
