    • Students are shown a few examples of themed playing cards like those below. They are to create an entire suit (King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and Ace) that have some sort of theme that ties them together or that utilize characters from a book or movie.

    Students may use the template provided here or measure out their own, but each card should be the same size.

    Evaluation
    1 point -- At least one color and black used
    3 points -- Consistent style and card size throughout suit
    3 points -- Unusual/artistic/creative treatment of characters/design.
    3 points -- Neatness of finished product
    10 points total
