Watercolor Techniques

Watercolor techniques are illustrated by the teacher while students follow along and practice each technique on their paper. The following day students are given a couple sheets of paper where they are to experiment with the techniques, making little swatches that use the techniques discussed (discovered) yesterday. They then cut the swatches out and mount them to a backing paper/board and label each technique.

Students are to illustrate 8 of the techniques listed below.

Evaluation:
Two points are awarded for correctly and nicely illustrating each technique.
Four points are awarded for the neatness of the labels and final presentation.
20 points total.
