  • 1. Demonstrate knowledge of the foundations of the arts area.

  • Practical application of art skills
    • Students are shown a series of drawings done by the teacher on a daily basis. They are given a sketch book and pencil and eraser. Students are required to make 5 illustrations/drawings/sketches a week. Each drawing should be dated.

    Informal weekly evaluation/critique sessions will be done in addition to bi-quarterly formal evals where sketchbooks are handed in.

    Grades will be based on quality of drawings and completeness of the sketchbook.

    Point totals to be determined based on the amount of drawings done for the formal grading period. (I.E. If a formal eval period was 3 weeks, the point value will be less than if the grade period encompassed 6 weeks.)
