Final project
Using skills learned throughout the course, students are to create a collection of works from two different time periods in art history. The students are responsible for gathering works that they can compare or contrast in an Art Collector slide show presentation. The students may wish to write the text in a word processing program and paste it in text boxes next to art collector images. The teacher can then view the collection and read the paper as it progresses through the collection. This should be an extensive collection and in-depth paper exploring as many aspects of comparison or contrast as possible in the time given.
Evaluation:
Correctly created an art collection, placed images and text in a logical order, published and turned in the URL to teacher.
Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Correctly attributed works with title, artist, date, and location (museum or web site where work resides)
Thesis statement (States what student will try to prove, accomplish, compare, or contrast in this paper.)
Many points of contrast or comparison
Convincing argument for the comparison or contrast.
Logical conclusions derived from in depth analysis of the subject matter. (Convincing)
