Leprechaun Houses

This project is done in 3rd and 4th grade at ACGC Elementary

Minnesota 4-5 Visual Art Standards used in this Lesson:

  • 1. Demonstrate knowledge of the foundations of the arts area.

    • The history of St. Patrick's day is discussed through images. A variety of house images are shown for inspriation. Then the teacher demonstrates how to make a small house out of clay. After the students' houses are fired, we will paint them.
