Glass Bead Lady Bug

    • Students are shown how to trace around a glass bead to get the exact size and shape they need. Emphasis is placed on angling the pencil so as to get a tight line underneath the edge. They are to cut inside the line they drew, then use sharpie markers to make a Y shape and spots.

    When they are finished a layer of glue is added (Blob of glue spread around evenly with one finger). "Glue on the side you drew on!"

    Glue the paper to the flat side of the glass bead and glue on wiggly eyes. Let them dry and take them home next time.
