Minnesota 4-5 Visual Art Standards used in this Lesson:

    • A fun folded Fish assignment.

    Tried it in one 25 minute session with wiggly eyes but we were rushed. Make it a 2-day lesson. Have them cut out eyes and draw scales on the head or something. (Draw on it after it's cut out but not glued together yet.)

    I cut 8.5 inch squares of colored paper (not construction paper) for the fish bodies. Students can pick two 2"X3" rectangles for the tail and fins.
