Capitalizing on the "Angry Bird" game, this project focuses on how to represent emotion in artwork by making little birds out of clay.

Students are shown how to make little round birds out of clay and how to shape the eyes and beaks to convey an emotion. Many different emotions are shown in the form of little clay birds.

After the birds are fired students can paint them in colors that go along with the emotion they made on their bird.

Finally, a critique session is done where students can share their birds with the class.
