Learning to use paints, mix colors, and cleanup responsibly
"Don't Crush the Brush"
The teacher demonstrates watercolor techniques in class and explains that this artwork is an exercise in controlling the watercolor paints.
"Don't Crush the Brush"
Students will start by drawing a border around their paper with crayon. ("Frame and Name") All the paint must be within that border. Then they are free to play with the watercolor paints and see what they come up with.
If time permits the students will tell a story about their artwork during the next class session.
