More and more our days are filled with computer work and things that, when we look back, show no real accomplishment. It seems that more and more people are "consuming" instead of "making". I'm a maker.

School was cancelled Friday (yesterday). So after doing mundane and frustrating paperwork and dealing with health insurance junk, I needed a creative "something". doing a fast sculpture always makes me feel better. I have a crazy insatiable need to make things. I don't feel good about myself or my day if I have nothing to show for it. The little sculpture above is a (maybe unsuccessful) caricature of movie star, Clive Owen.
