Rubber Mold Filled

After the wax has cooled sufficiently the rubber mold is peeled away to reveal the finished part cast in wax. The wax is still semi-flexible at this point so it's able to bend a little. If left to cool completely the wax would become too brittle and crack as we tried to remove the piece from the rubber mold.
