St. Joe Redo
St. Joseph's head was too large. The picture at the right shows how the face has been carved away to make it smaller.
When sculpting it's easier to start with the planes of the face then work details into the rough sculpture.
Also notice the wedge shape of the neck/chest that was cut away from the sculpture in the background.
The head will be re-sculpted and attached again to the body seamlessly.
