Introduction to Photoshop

General Technology Description/Standards

1. Demonstrate knowledge of Printing and Print processes.

1a. Understand how to make a rubber or foam stamp and print multiple copies.

2b. Learn and use Adobe Illustrator to create and edit images for a website

3. Demonstrate knowledge and skills in robotics programming.

3a. Follow instructions to build multiple robots out of Lego.

3b. Program robots to do specific tasks.

4. Demonstrate knowledge and skills of injection molding.

4a. Properly prepare molds and parts for injection molding.

4b. Reproduce objects using an injection mold machine.

Holy Trinity students will learn the basics of the industry-standard photo editing tool, Adobe Photoshop.

Depending on our time schedule, a quick introduction to painting with Photoshop and Photo editing (Click here for an animation illustrating some photo editing.)may be presented at the start of this lesson. Click here for a brief 25 year history of Photoshop.

Students will learn Photoshop basics by following along on their computers while the teacher demonstrates how to use some of Photoshop's tools. They will then be given time to make their own creation using Photoshop.

Students will experiment with painting and selection tools in photoshop, daily producing small images utilizing the new tools/techniques learned in class

The classroom lessons pretty much follow my tutorials below which were made for students who were absent or who want to follow along at home.
