After experiencing Lego programming in 7th grade, students are given the opportunity to expand on their building and programming knowledge. Students are to use iPads to build and program the items below or one of their own original creations using the Lego Boost sets:

Frankie the Cat	Guitar 4000
Autobuildert	Vernie the Robot

When students have finished building a model they should program the robot to do something original (Do more than what the instructions give, perhaps add more actions and different sounds.) and show the teacher. Grades will be based on the following:

Evaluation:
4 points -- Accurately built according to the instructions
4 points -- Programmed with original actions that utilize the sensors included (beyond the instructions)
2 points -- Model taken apart and pieces put into appropriate bins in the Boost box

10 Points Total
