27. Something Abstract. What do you see?
Read on for more of an explanation: We were talking about abstract art in class today. The students and I don't really like most abstract art, but after talking about realistic paintings and comparing our conversations with how we talked about abstract artworks, they discovered that sometimes there are alot of things to discuss about abstract artworks. It was enlightening. I still prefer Bernini's work to Calder's. But it was an interesting conversation.
